Architect, designer and entrepreneur working across design and technology.
Based between Madrid and London, Manuel Jiménez García connects architecture, computational design and advanced manufacturing. His work spans furniture, buildings and software, exploring how digital tools, material experimentation and new fabrication methods expand what we can design and make.
His practice brings together creative work, academic research and entrepreneurship. He is co-founder and CEO of Nagami, and co-founder of Automated Architecture (AUAR) and madMdesign, translating experimental ideas into objects, spaces and businesses.
For over a decade, he taught and led research at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, directing Architectural Computation and co-founding AUAR Labs. He has also taught at the Architectural Association and delivered guest lectures at MIT, Harvard Graduate School of Design and RMIT, amongst other highly regarded institutions. His research features in Robotic Building: Architecture in the Age of Automation.
His work is held in the permanent collections of the Centre Pompidou and Philadelphia Museum of Art, and has been exhibited internationally at the V&A, Royal Academy of Arts, Design Museum in London, Vitra Design Museum and Zaha Hadid Design Gallery. Forbes España named him among its 100 most creative people in business.
An international speaker with two TEDx talks, Manuel shares insights drawn from designing, developing tools, teaching and building creative companies. He is available for keynotes, masterclasses and advisory work across design, architecture and technology.
